We regularly receive requests for authorization of shooting of the Old Castle and its site, pictures and video.

 

Also we propose to you here to define our position, simple altogether and, from our point of view, tinted good practice sense ..... Yes, yes…. you will see at the end of the page !

 

Concerning the Field of Volkrange, the town of Thionville is owner.
We are tenant of the site of the Old Castle, i.e. the building of the XIII° and its mound delimited by its moat.

The legislative whole layout defining “the right to the image” applies here automatically.

 

Outside:

 

The Old Castle readily allows to have one's picture taken since there is no gene for anyone.

However, if you must organize a more consequent shooting by setting up heavier structures, footlights, imposing reflectors, etc, in the area circumscribed by the moats and accesses, our prior approval remains essential.

For a shooting in interior, it would be interesting the keys to recover….thus to contact us here seems useful !
